What you'll do:
- Build complex web services and low-level infrastructure components
- Engineer prototypes and production applications with emphasis on speed
- Contribute across planning, organization, execution, and delivery phases
- Participate in on-call support to understand customer issues
What we're looking for:
- Highly-experienced backend engineer with expertise in complex web services
- Language-agnostic (we currently use Python and C++)
- Strong SQL and data knowledge
- Takes ownership and drives progress independently
- Excellent written communication skills
- Participates in on-call rotations
- Use AI tools (like Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or others) to go faster, stay unblocked, and write better code
