As a member of the Applied AI team at Anthropic, you will be a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who embeds directly with our most strategic customers to drive transformational AI adoption. You will collaborate closely with customer teams to ship advanced AI applications that solve real world business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Work within customer systems to build production applications with Claude models
• Deliver technical artifacts for customers like MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills for production workflows
• Provide white glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments
• Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and contribute insights back to Product and Engineering teams
• Maintain strong knowledge of latest LLM developments, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks
• Build long term customer relationships and identify new AI deployment opportunities
• Travel approximately 25% to customer sites
• Champion Anthropic's mission in the field

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have:

• 3+ years in a technical, customer facing role (FDE, Software Engineer with consulting experience, or technical founder)
• Production experience with LLMs including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale
• Strong programming skills in Python (plus TypeScript, Java, etc.)
• High agency navigating organizational complexity and ambiguity
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Financial services, healthcare/life sciences, or enterprise vertical background is a plus

Annual Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 USD Hybrid: 25% in-office minimum Visa sponsorship available
