About the Role
Microsoft AI | Platform Engineering | Full-time | Greater Seattle Area, WA or Bay Area (Mountain View), CA | ONSITE (3 days/week)
We're building the platform primitives that power copilot.com (Microsoft's ChatGPT). If you've shipped systems at scale — whether backend services, distributed infrastructure, ML platforms, or consumer AI products — we want to talk to you.
The work: design and build secure, performant platform services for AI at scale; collaborate with infrastructure, product, design, and research teams; ship high-quality code that reaches hundreds of millions of users; move fast in a design-driven environment.
You: solid fundamentals in systems thinking and software engineering; fluent in Python, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, or similar; shipped real products or systems people use; can communicate across technical and non-technical teams. Worked at companies/products of global scale and at least 1 startup-like environment (startup or internal incubator).
Compensation: Competitive with other frontier AI companies, commensurate with experience. Relocation available.
