Software Engineer, Backend (AI / RAG)

Cresta is hiring a Software Engineer, Backend in Bucharest for the Knowledge Assist team that develops AI solutions including real-time generative assistance (GenKA), knowledge search (KS), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities. Responsibilities: build scalable, reliable backend services that power real-time AI assistance and search; design APIs and data flows to support integrations with knowledge bases and customer systems; collaborate with ML engineers across the stack with backend focus. Stack: Python, Go, Node.js; React (frontend); PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch; AWS, GCP, Azure; REST and gRPC APIs. 3+ years experience required. Hybrid in Bucharest.
