About the Role
Ekkiden is an international consulting firm founded in 2019 with 200+ employees across 7 offices in France, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland. This AI Engineer role is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing a hybrid AI/ML platform (on-premise/cloud) to run large-scale AI use cases (feature stores, model registry, experimentation, evaluation, observability), defining and implementing secure and reliable training and inference architectures including vector search and RAG components, providing platform support for AI agent embeddings, vector databases and communication protocols, participating in training, fine-tuning and optimization of models (LLM, NLP, recommendation systems), and translating advances in GenAI and Agentic AI into concrete product opportunities.
Required skills: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain/LlamaIndex or equivalent for orchestration. LLM experience including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, LoRA, embeddings, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate), RAG architectures. Python, R, or Java/Scala. Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD. SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehouses. MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases).
Desirable: deploying open-source models (Llama, Mistral, Mixtral) on GPUs, model quantization, information retrieval systems, semantic caching, AI security (prompt injection protection, red teaming).
