About the Role
Granola is building an AI-powered meeting notepad. As an AI Engineer, you will own the development and application of LLM-based features end-to-end, build and maintain evaluation frameworks for prompt iteration and semantic retrieval, and optimize embeddings and vector stores for performance and scalability. You will interact directly with users to understand requirements and design solutions, and stay current with emerging LLM trends and practices.
Requirements: Production experience shipping multi-provider LLM solutions (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), proficiency with infrastructure platforms for prompt management, logging/tracing, and evaluations, experience designing large-context LLM systems (RAG, knowledge graphs, hybrid search, memory), full-stack development with TypeScript, React.js, Node.js. This is a founding team role requiring in-person collaboration 5 days/week at the London office.
