About the Role
Humata is a seed-stage startup seeking an AI Engineer to develop a document and knowledge-base question-answering system. You'll build what we call our 'cognitive architecture,' working with generative AI and information retrieval technologies.
What you'll do:
- Prototype new search methods like image-based RAG and document understanding
- Build a state-of-the-art GenAI system combining cutting-edge approaches in GenAI, search, and RAG
- Take ownership of critical projects
- Build production systems with large language models
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven production work with large language models
- Expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python
