AI Engineer

Humata is a seed-stage startup seeking an AI Engineer to develop a document and knowledge-base question-answering system. You'll build what we call our 'cognitive architecture,' working with generative AI and information retrieval technologies.

What you'll do:

• Prototype new search methods like image-based RAG and document understanding
• Build a state-of-the-art GenAI system combining cutting-edge approaches in GenAI, search, and RAG
• Take ownership of critical projects
• Build production systems with large language models

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven production work with large language models
• Expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python
