AI Application Engineer – AI Products (LLM & RAG) (m/f/d)

We're hiring an AI Application Engineer to design and build AI-powered applications and product features for enterprise clients, with specific focus on enterprise assistants, AI copilots, semantic search platforms and intelligent automation systems.

What you'll do:

• Build LLM-powered applications using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and modern AI frameworks
• Implement vector search, embeddings pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems
• Develop enterprise assistants, AI copilots, and semantic search platforms
• Build AI agents and automation systems
• Take features from prototype to production deployment as AI microservices

What we're looking for:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a technical field plus relevant hands-on experience
• Strong programming skills (Python)
• AI/ML/GenAI application experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Nice to have: experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, HuggingFace
• C1 German and English
• Maximum of 20% travel needs
