Software Engineer

MindFort (Y Combinator X25) builds an AI-powered penetration testing platform that delivers human-level security testing at machine speed. We build autonomous AI security agents that pen test your software before attackers do: finding, exploiting, and patching vulnerabilities. Backed by YC, Soma Capital, and others.

Software Engineer (Backend + AI):

Architect and scale our agent systems from scratch. You'll design and build end-to-end LLM applications, architect scalable backends, orchestrate AI reasoning and exploit-chaining flows, and integrate models into production at scale.

Tech stack:

• Python (deep expertise required)
• LangChain, LangGraph
• PostgreSQL, REST APIs
• Docker, Kubernetes
• LLMs and AI agents in production

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong Python expertise.
• LLM and AI agent experience.
• API design, database, and backend systems knowledge.
• Production AI scaling experience.

Nice to have:

• LLM training/serving experience.
• Cybersecurity / red-teaming background (not required).
• Startup experience.

Compensation: $150K - $250K + founding-level equity (0.20% - 0.70%). Includes 100% health coverage and unlimited PTO.
