Senior AI Python Software Engineer

Nearform is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (AI / ML, Python) for a permanent remote position based in Italy with frequent European travel. The role involves designing and building Python applications with AI capabilities, with experience in AI application development and Agentic frameworks like LangGraph and Agentspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build Python applications with accountability for code quality
• Define source code management, build, and deployment practices
• Implement data storage solutions and optimize performance
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and translate business needs
• Support component design, development, and maintenance
• Participate in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

Required Skills

• Python (primary language)
• Modern AI frameworks
• Agentic platforms: LangGraph, Agentspace
• Git/version control
• CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud environments
• Databases (relational and data storage solutions)
• 8+ years of commercial experience

Nice-to-Have

• Kubernetes

Salary ranges offered: EUR 50,000-100,000+ (negotiable based on experience)
