About the Role
Nordea seeks a Forward Deployed AI Scientist (Expert Data Scientist) to design and deploy AI applications from concept to production. The role involves building scalable AI solutions integrated into service domains, exploring emerging AI tools and frameworks, and partnering with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and scale transformative AI applications from concept to production
- Explore emerging AI tools and frameworks to build proof-of-concepts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical implementations
Core Requirements:
- BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on AI/ML production experience (5+ for senior positions)
- Python proficiency with software engineering fundamentals
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and optimization for production
- Basic cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Generative AI and machine learning expertise
- Agent development frameworks: AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph or similar and multi-agent system coordination
- Agent testing, performance monitoring, and production reliability knowledge
- Regulated industry experience (banking, government)
