Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Procurement)

RA Scale AG is an ETH Zurich spin-off developing Scalera.ai, an AI-powered SaaS platform for construction procurement across Europe. The company serves 110+ customers and processes CHF 8bn+ in annual tender volume. The role operates at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender workflows with construction companies to identify automation opportunities
• Build and deploy customer-specific automations, integrations, and AI-powered workflows using the platform stack
• Rapidly prototype, validate, and generalize high-impact solutions into scalable features
• Act as technical bridge between customers and core product team
• Own projects end-to-end with CI/CD and testing standards

Must-Have

• 4+ years as full-stack or product engineer in B2B SaaS (React/Next.js, TypeScript, Python/FastAPI)
• Ability to understand complex real-world workflows and translate requirements into production software
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Ownership mindset

Nice-to-Have

• Solutions engineering or forward-deployed engineering experience
• Construction tech, procurement systems, or ERP integration exposure
• LLM tools, workflow automation, or document intelligence pipeline experience
• GCP, Django, or large-scale data platform familiarity

Salary: CHF 80,000 - 120,000 per year.
