The Public Sector software engineers develop core product building blocks for forward-deployed teams creating agentic capabilities across multiple domains.
Key Capabilities Include
- Create multi-layered guardrails around agents
- Optimize data retrieval for agents
- Orchestrate fleets of asynchronous agents
- Automatically alert users to deviations in data
- Illustrate how an agent reached a decision
Primary Responsibilities
- Orchestrate feature implementation across Federal teams for architectural consistency
- Define technical strategy for agentic guardrails, explainability, and fleet orchestration
- Ensure system reliability across multiple security classifications
- Mentor engineers on stakeholder requirement definition and acceptance gathering
- Communicate high-level technical trade-offs and implementation strategies to senior government stakeholders and Scale C-Suite members
- Influence long-term product strategy for Federal business unit
- Consult on AI-powered solution architecture for large-scale federal contracts
Required Skills & Tech Stack
- Full Stack Development: Front-end, back-end, infrastructure; modern web frameworks, programming languages, databases
- Cloud-Native Technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP; Docker containerization; Kubernetes orchestration
- Data Engineering: ETL processes, data pipelines, diverse data source integration; data modeling, warehousing, governance
- AI Application Integration: Familiarity with integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and building agentic workflows. Understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent orchestration.
- Collaboration & Communication: Cross-functional teamwork, stakeholder engagement
