Software Engineer, Agent

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents: Build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents serving as mission-critical systems driving revenue across finance, healthcare, and commerce industries.
• Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): Maintain complete ownership from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration, building and tuning AI agents in production while establishing ADLC best practices.
• Partner with enterprises and startups: Work directly with leaders at large enterprises and cutting-edge Silicon Valley startups to understand challenges and deploy AI agents at scale.
• Build the future of the platform: Surface unmet customer needs, prototype new tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams.

Example Projects

• Design AI agents for telecommunications/media companies outperforming human agents in subscription churn management
• Develop agents capable of navigating complex customer interactions including device troubleshooting and product personalization
• Create industry-specific, generalizable AI agent frameworks
• Facilitate design partnerships for new agent architectures and self-service capabilities
• Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale

Required Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
• Strong technical problem-solving in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
• Builder/tinkerer mentality with high agency and creative obstacle-solving
• Comfort working directly with customers on real-world problems
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
• Founder or founding engineer background
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
• Previous customer-facing or external stakeholder leadership roles
