Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to manage and optimize the IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and internal tools that power LockedIn AI.
You will be responsible for keeping production and internal systems secure, stable, and highly available as the platform continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Manage AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, databases)
Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization
Handle server provisioning, scaling, patching, and upgrades
Maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
Implement backup and disaster recovery systems
Identity & Access Management
Manage IAM policies across cloud and SaaS tools
Administer SSO, MFA, and directory services
Handle user provisioning and deprovisioning
Conduct access reviews and security audits
Networking & Systems
Manage VPCs, DNS, SSL certificates, firewalls, and VPNs
Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
Ensure reliable email delivery (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
Optimize CDN and global content delivery
SaaS & Endpoint Administration
Manage internal tools (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Notion, etc.)
Oversee licenses, subscriptions, and vendor management
Maintain endpoint security and device management systems
Track IT assets and system inventory
Security & Compliance
Implement system hardening and security best practices
Manage EDR, antivirus, and device compliance tools
Support SOC 2 / GDPR / ISO compliance initiatives
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability checks
Monitoring & Incident Response
Build monitoring dashboards and alerting systems
Respond to outages and system incidents
Maintain runbooks and incident documentation
Participate in on-call rotations
Candidate Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience in systems administration or IT operations
Strong Linux administration skills
Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud platforms
Understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, HTTP/S)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
Experience with scripting (Bash, Python)
Preferred
Experience supporting scalable SaaS or AI systems
Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
SOC 2 / compliance exposure
Endpoint management experience (MDM tools)
Email infrastructure and deliverability experience
Compensation & Benefits
$100,000 – $150,000 USD salary
