Senior Python Backend Engineer (AI / Agents)

VidRush is an AI-native video production platform transforming video creation through coordinated AI agents. Creators input ideas and receive fully produced long-form videos — including research, script, voiceover, visuals, motion graphics, and rendering — within an hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Build agentic systems that reason, plan, and execute multi-step tasks reliably
• Design and deploy LLM-based services (tool use, structured outputs, evals, monitoring)
• Develop video/image intelligence pipelines (retrieval, matching, classification, metadata extraction, generative augmentation)
• Integrate existing APIs and tools with strong build-vs-buy judgment
• Ship scalable inference pipelines on cloud infrastructure
• Apply MLOps/LLMOps best practices: observability, testing, evals, versioning, cost control

Required Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering and production system shipping experience
• Experience building with LLMs (OpenAI-style APIs, tool calling, RAG, structured generation)
• ML/LLM services deployment in production (cloud, containers, serverless, async pipelines)
• Practical video/image processing understanding
• High autonomy transforming vague problems into shipped solutions

Nice-to-Have

• Agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI)
• Vector search, embeddings, retrieval systems
• Workflow orchestration (queues, batch jobs, event-driven systems)
• PyTorch and GPU inference optimization
