About the Role
Workday's Customer Agentic Solutions team is hiring a Senior Developer for Agentic AI Engineering in Dublin, Ireland. This is a full-stack product engineering role with ownership spanning problem definition, model selection, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and cost optimization for customer-facing services.
Responsibilities:
- Own AI-powered features end-to-end: problem framing, data contracts, model/tool selection, prompts, evaluations, safety, cost/latency optimization
- Build AI-powered translation and internationalization features
- Production reliability and business outcomes ownership
Requirements:
- 7+ years software development experience
- Expert Python proficiency
- LangGraph, LangChain, Pydantic, asyncio, pandas, NumPy, boto3
- AWS, GCP, Docker
- REST/Graph APIs, pytest, GitHub, CI/CD
- LangSmith for observability
- End-to-end AI feature ownership experience
- Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders
Experience with:
- Agentic workflows, multi-agent architectures
- RAG, MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Transformer architectures, prompt engineering
Optional:
- Flowise, n8n, PowerAutomate, Zapier orchestration
- Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot AI-enhanced development
Location: Dublin, Ireland (telecommute with 50% in-office per quarter)
