Zapdeck is an AI-powered presentation creation tool, one of the leading AI tools for professional slide creation, built around an innovative agentic AI that generates complete presentations with fully on-brand design. Users interact via chat, develop storylines, and refine slide aesthetics. The company is based in Berlin and serves enterprise clients.

As a Senior AI Engineer you architect and expand the AI system components with an emphasis on performance and stability. You construct multi-agent workflows using LLMs and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, plus retrieval-augmented generation. You deliver sophisticated features including layout refinement, structured reasoning pipelines, and cross-modal capabilities. You partner with product and engineering teams on iterative feature development and establish standards for AI system evaluation, deployment, oversight, and scaling in live environments.

Requirements: entrepreneurial orientation with an ownership mindset and the ability to ship solutions quickly; minimum 2 years developing production-level AI systems focused on LLMs; background building multi-step reasoning and agentic systems; practical experience with LangGraph and retrieval technologies; knowledge of prompt optimization, evaluation methodology, and LLM reliability. Bonus: fine-tuning expertise or multimodal/visual AI experience. Berlin-area residency, English proficiency, and quick availability required.
