Agent Engineer (LangChain)

Focused is hiring an Agent Engineer (LangChain) in Denver. You build AI-enabled applications leveraging LangChain and LLMs to deliver meaningful, production-ready outcomes. You lead full-stack delivery from backend services to modern web interfaces. You practice test-driven development and continuous refactoring, mentor developers through pairing and knowledge sharing, and guide architectural decisions for scalability and observability. You stay current with emerging generative AI patterns and share learnings across the team.

Requirements: full-stack engineer with an agile delivery track record. You have worked with LangChain (or similar agentic frameworks), and understand how to architect AI-native systems responsibly. Deep expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith. Commitment to code quality and TDD practices. Multi-language and framework experience (Python, Node, Java, React, Next.js). Comfortable navigating complex organizations and translating technical concepts for stakeholders. Experience modernizing legacy systems and adopting contemporary development practices.

Work model: 3 days/week in the Denver office plus up to 20% US travel. Tech stack includes Python, Node.js, Java, React, Next.js, FastAPI, OpenAI APIs, and vector databases. Compensation: $120,000 - $175,000. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
