About the Role
Gatik AI is hiring an AI Operations & RAG Architect in Mountain View. Gatik is an autonomous logistics company deploying Level 4 freight trucks commercially; this role bridges raw company data with AI assistants so teams can use the world's best models safely and efficiently. You design and maintain the vector databases and data pipelines that power internal AI. You implement identity-aware retrieval governance ensuring AI outputs never leak sensitive data to unauthorized users. You build and tune AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Zapier. You administer the enterprise AI stack (Gemini CLI, Claude Code, Granola AI) across the organization. You protect against prompt injection, data poisoning, and shadow AI usage. You monitor LLM latency and token usage, and optimize embeddings and chunking strategies.
Requirements: experience administering enterprise AI platforms (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT). Strong Python for RAG pipelines and LLM API integration. Vector database familiarity (e.g., Pinecone) and AI orchestration knowledge. Understanding of IAM (Google/Okta) intersection with AI data retrieval. Knowledge of data privacy standards and PII masking in AI prompts.
Work model: 5 days/week onsite in Mountain View. Compensation: $170,000 - $220,000.
