AI Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Engineer to develop and deploy LLM-driven features in our product. You will build AI capabilities such as deep document analysis and interactive chat experiences, combining software engineering with applied machine learning to deliver production-ready systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, evaluate, and deploy LLM-driven features including deep document analysis and interactive chat
• Work with models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini
• Design and implement RAG pipelines
• Build scalable, distributed production ML systems
• Run experimentation and ensure production reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
• 5+ years professional experience in software engineering and AI/ML development
• Proficiency with Python and systems design
• Knowledge of ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, dvc, weights & biases)
• Cloud deployment experience for ML systems
• Professional LLM and large-scale model experience
• Strong track record building scalable, distributed production ML systems

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, LiteLLM, Agent Client Protocol, Koog
• RAG implementation expertise
• Kotlin proficiency

Location and Compensation

New York City (on-site). $200K – $380K annually + early-stage equity.
