About the team
The Agent Collaboration platform team builds interactive tools and analysis features for AI agents. The flagship product, Matrix, is a generative spreadsheet that coordinates complex workflows across thousands of documents, processing information equivalent to 100 Harry Potter novels per second.
Responsibilities
- Transform complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions addressing real customer needs
- Develop high-scale document indexing systems enabling constant-time latency regardless of data volume
- Optimize system performance to minimize latency and maximize throughput across millions of documents
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years backend software engineering experience at startups or top tech firms
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go for building backend and API systems
- Extensive AWS cloud platform experience
- Working experience with Kafka, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and/or Redis
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication
- Leadership experience and collaborative team skills
Bonus
- Experience building agentic systems or LLM-enabled products
- Regular use of AI development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
Compensation
Salary Range: $160,000 - $300,000 USD
