Staff Applied AI Engineer — Auggie Platform - US (Remote)

As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be a technical leader at the center of this transformation. You'll shape platform architecture, drive AI-powered product delivery, and raise the bar for what a small, AI-augmented engineering team can accomplish.

What You'll Do

Multi-agent orchestration and execution. Design and build core systems that let multiple autonomous agents collaborate, delegate, and execute complex business workflows in production.

Autonomous workflow automation. Build the automation layer that turns business processes into agent-driven workflows with human-in-the-loop safeguards.

Auto-generated UIs. Architect systems that dynamically generate functional interfaces from agent outputs.

Platform integration & MCP. Own integration layers connecting to Slack, Notion, Salesforce, and custom data sources.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years professional software engineering experience with senior/staff-level tenure
• Production experience building multi-agent AI systems (not prototypes)
• Deep familiarity with LLM integration: prompt engineering, function calling, RAG, structured outputs
• Agent orchestration framework experience
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js and distributed systems background
• End-to-end product initiative ownership track record
