Red Cell Partners seeks a Principal Applied ML Researcher for their Trase Systems division, focused on agentic AI systems and applied platforms. This role drives ML strategy for Trase OS, an agentic execution platform for regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Advance technical breakthroughs in agent infrastructure and LLM applications
• Own the complete research-to-production lifecycle for agentic systems
• Design how LLMs operate within agent workflows, tool use, and multi-step reasoning
• Implement prompting strategies, multi-agent orchestration, memory management, and human-in-the-loop controls
• Establish evaluation frameworks connecting model performance to real-world outcomes
• Build enterprise-grade AI systems for global customers in regulated settings
• Mentor technical staff and propagate best practices

Required Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of experience in machine learning with production systems deployment
• Strong Python programming; experience with Java or C++ preferred
• Deep expertise in LLMs and generative AI, NLP or multimodal systems, deep learning, or graph learning
• Hands-on background with prompt engineering and multi-agent orchestration
• Enterprise AI system shipping experience at scale
• Proficiency designing evaluation frameworks and benchmarks
• Understanding of production ML behavior, reliability, and failure modes
• Experience in regulated or constrained deployment environments
