Company: Accordion Location: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco (hybrid, 2 days remote/week)

This position sits within Accordion's Intelligence Lab, a team designing AI solutions for market deployment. Candidates will join AI-augmented delivery pods combining engineering, data science, and product management to transform how PE-backed companies manage finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design multi-agent systems and RAG pipelines automating financial workflows
- Own full-stack development from prompt engineering through monitoring
- Practice evaluation-driven development before building solutions
- Translate client problems into engineering requirements under time pressure
- Present architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build observability infrastructure for production systems
- Conduct client site visits as needed
Required Qualifications
- Daily use of AI tools demonstrating measurable productivity gains
- 3-8+ years software engineering experience, substantially in AI/ML systems or LLM engineering
- Hands-on production experience with RAG systems, agentic workflows, tool use, multi-agent orchestration
- Python proficiency; experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, DSPy, or equivalent frameworks
- Strong evaluation methodology knowledge
- Data engineering fundamentals including ETL design, SQL/NoSQL, vector databases
Nice-to-Have
- Open-source AI/ML contributions
- Finance or PE domain knowledge (FP&A, GL accounting, ERP systems)
- Multi-tenant or multi-client tool development experience
- Consulting or client-facing delivery background
Compensation: $144,500-$230,000 USD annually, plus significant bonus and benefits
