Caribou helps homecare organizations attract, engage, and retain staff through data-driven recognition, rewards, and coordination tools.

We are building AI-powered agentic systems that work alongside agency coordinators to handle routine coordination, outreach, and administrative workflows to improve agency operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and evolve the core agent orchestration layer using LangGraph/LangChain in TypeScript
• Build durable infrastructure with async state management, failure handling, and monitoring
• Establish engineering patterns and mentor team members
• Convert real-world home care workflows into automated systems

Requirements:

• 8+ years software engineering experience with production LLM/agent systems
• Deep expertise in stateful, multi-step AI workflows and async patterns
• Strong TypeScript proficiency with LangChain/LangGraph experience
• End-to-end architecture ownership capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills
• Leadership and mentoring abilities

Bonus: Voice AI platforms (Vapi, ElevenLabs), regulated/compliance domain experience

Salary: $200k - $230k CAD / year
