Automations Engineer (Internal AI)
Agentic Frameworks
About the Role
As an Internal AI / Automations Engineer at ElevenLabs, you'll be embedded at the frontier of how the company scales, acting as a forward-deployed engineer across GTM, Operations, and Finance teams. You won't just build tools; you'll co-design and ship agentic AI workflows that eliminate manual toil and reshape how people operate.
About ElevenLabs: an AI research company launched in January 2023 with human-like voice models, serving millions of users and enterprise clients (Deutsche Telekom, Meta). $781M raised at an $11B valuation. Three platforms: ElevenAgents, ElevenCreative, and ElevenAPI. Culture is high-velocity: rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, minimal bureaucracy, no traditional job titles, AI-first across all departments.
You'll own high-stakes automations from discovery to production, acting as a technical partner to internal teams. The patterns, guardrails, and tooling you define become the blueprint other teams reach for. You'll join a lean, high-velocity team focused on turning broken, manual processes into elegant automated systems.
What you'll work on:
- Designing and iterating on AI agents and workflow orchestrations using tools like ElevenAgents, Claude, and n8n.
- Integrating AI systems with the business stack (Salesforce, Slack, Ashby).
- Building reusable automation services and templates.
- Owning experiments end-to-end with impact measurement.
- Developing evaluation and monitoring frameworks for reliability and auditability.
Requirements:
- Production automation/application experience.
- Strong LLM knowledge (prompting, RAG patterns, agentic workflows).
- Deep Python and SQL expertise.
- System design patterns (APIs, webhooks, orchestration).
- Cloud infrastructure hands-on experience (GCP preferred).
- Kubernetes, Docker, and enterprise authentication proficiency.
Benefits: professional development stipend, social travel stipend, annual company offsite in rotating locations, and a co-working stipend for remote employees.
Full-time. Remote (global) with offices including London, New York, San Francisco, and Warsaw. Note: this is an internal AI automation role rather than a customer-facing product role.
