About the Role
Hapimag seeks an experienced AI Engineer to lead their artificial intelligence strategy and integration. The role involves implementing cutting-edge AI capabilities across customer and employee-facing systems while driving digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead AI strategy definition and execution
- Integrate innovative AI features into existing processes
- Oversee implementation of content creation tools and chatbot systems
- Drive delivery of new features for internal and external platforms
- Champion Hapimag's digital transformation initiatives
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent (FH, University, ETH)
- 5+ years software engineering (backend preferred)
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Expertise: Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, agentic design patterns, generative AI, Model Context Protocol
- Strong knowledge of modern software architectures
- End-to-end AI system design and operation
- DevOps (Kubernetes), databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), GCP ecosystem
- API gateways (Apigee), Pub-Sub technologies (Kafka)
- Fluent English; German language skills valued
Salary: CHF 125,000-135,000 annually (approximately EUR 75,000-95,000)
