AI Engineer (f/m/d)

Hapimag seeks an experienced AI Engineer to lead their artificial intelligence strategy and integration. The role involves implementing cutting-edge AI capabilities across customer and employee-facing systems while driving digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AI strategy definition and execution
• Integrate innovative AI features into existing processes
• Oversee implementation of content creation tools and chatbot systems
• Drive delivery of new features for internal and external platforms
• Champion Hapimag's digital transformation initiatives

Requirements:

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent (FH, University, ETH)
• 5+ years software engineering (backend preferred)
• Proficiency in Python or Java
• Expertise: Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, agentic design patterns, generative AI, Model Context Protocol
• Strong knowledge of modern software architectures
• End-to-end AI system design and operation
• DevOps (Kubernetes), databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), GCP ecosystem
• API gateways (Apigee), Pub-Sub technologies (Kafka)
• Fluent English; German language skills valued

Salary: CHF 125,000-135,000 annually (approximately EUR 75,000-95,000)
