About the Role
NVIDIA's Agentic Memory team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience using, developing, and researching agents in a variety of applications. You will join a team of researchers with deep experience in building information retrieval systems, working on advancing the state of the art of agentic memory.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing benchmark tasks and evaluation methodologies for semantic, episodic, and procedural memory
- Building synthetic dataset generation pipelines for enterprise-relevant evaluation data
- Conducting experiments to diagnose memory system limitations
- Developing open-source evaluation harnesses for reproducible comparisons
- Contributing to public-facing benchmarks and leaderboards
- Integrating improvements across the full NVIDIA software ecosystem
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (or equivalent, 12+ years experience) or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI, or Applied Math
- Hands-on development of agentic systems with integrated memory components
- State of the art expertise in retrieval research, with a focus on agentic retrieval
- Python proficiency, deep learning ecosystem knowledge, large-scale data pipeline experience
- Demonstrated ability through publications, blog posts, or GitHub contributions
- Publication history in top conferences (CVPR, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, KDD preferred)
Remote-friendly with flexible location across NA/EU time zones. Locations include California, Texas, New York, Washington, and Florida.
Salary: $224,000 - $356,500 USD base plus equity and benefits.
