About the Role
P-1 AI is developing engineering AGI, with their first product being Archie, an AI engineer for physical product design. The company raised a $23M seed round led by Radical Ventures.
In this role, you will design and implement solutions spanning distributed systems, security, and AI features.
Key responsibilities
- Decompose capability roadmaps into technical development plans
- Translate research prototypes into production systems with robust, scalable implementations
- Diagnose technical issues and improve system architecture
- Build automated testing frameworks for agentic AI evaluation
Requirements
- Proven ownership of production-grade software
- Python application development experience
- Data modeling and database interaction skills
- User-focused problem-solving approach
- Code quality focus and AI workflow optimization mindset
Compensation
- Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 annually
- Significant equity component

Work arrangement: Remote (US/Canada with work authorization) with quarterly in-person weeks in San Mateo, CA. Relocation support available for Bay Area.
