Senior Software Engineer - Agentic AI Platform

P-1 AI is developing engineering AGI, with their first product being Archie, an AI engineer for physical product design. The company raised a $23M seed round led by Radical Ventures.

In this role, you will design and implement solutions spanning distributed systems, security, and AI features.

Key responsibilities

• Decompose capability roadmaps into technical development plans
• Translate research prototypes into production systems with robust, scalable implementations
• Diagnose technical issues and improve system architecture
• Build automated testing frameworks for agentic AI evaluation

Requirements

• Proven ownership of production-grade software
• Python application development experience
• Data modeling and database interaction skills

Compensation

• Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 annually

Work arrangement: Remote (US/Canada with work authorization) with quarterly in-person weeks in San Mateo, CA. Relocation support available for Bay Area.
