About the team
The Generative AI Data Engine team powers advanced LLMs through RLHF, human data generation, model evaluation, safety, and alignment work. Teams operate at the intersection of ML, operations, and analytics to deliver high-quality data at scale. Placements include Allocation, Growth, Frontier Data, Trust and Safety, Pay, Operator, or Tasking Experience teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Develop systems handling millions of tasks weekly using TypeScript, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch
- Contribute to compute orchestration via Temporal
- Own revenue-critical technical systems
- Collaborate with model teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Shape engineering culture and practices
Requirements
- 3+ years software engineering experience
- Demonstrated success shipping products at scale
- Full-stack capability (React, TypeScript, Node, Python)
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
- Strong product intuition and problem-solving abilities
Compensation
Base salary: $180,000 - $225,000 USD
Logistics
- Hybrid: 3 days per week in-office (SF or NY)
