AI Engineer

Sharebite is hiring a remote AI Engineer. You ship full-stack product features while ramping on the platform, then build AI agents and automated workflows using modern tooling. You integrate LLMs into product workflows in ways that are reliable and production-safe. You evaluate and iterate on AI systems based on real-world performance. You collaborate across product and engineering teams.

Requirements: 5+ years full-stack development with end-to-end ownership. 1-2 years hands-on AI engineering shipping LLM systems in production. Strong software fundamentals (system design, testing, debugging). Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AWS Bedrock. Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic). Comfort working with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks.

Success milestones: in 0-3 months, ship features independently and understand platform architecture. In 3-6 months, deploy your first production AI workflow or agent. In 6-12 months, automate multiple high-impact workflows and identify new opportunities.

Ideal candidate: a thoughtful engineer who understands when AI adds value, takes ownership proactively, and is comfortable evolving from full-stack work into AI engineering as platform knowledge deepens.

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 base, plus equity, health insurance, and meal stipend. Fully remote.
