AI Engineer

TRACTIAN is hiring an AI Engineer (LLM Applications Engineer) to design, develop, and deploy production-ready applications that harness the capabilities of large language models. You will be responsible for creating user-facing LLM applications, building APIs, implementing RAG systems, document processing workflows, and conversational interfaces for industrial applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user-facing LLM applications for industrial use cases
• Create high-performance APIs that integrate LLMs with our platform
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for enhanced information access
• Build intelligent document processing workflows with OCR and PDF parsing
• Develop conversational interfaces and chatbots for industrial applications
• Optimize LLM application performance, latency, and cost

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of software engineering experience with backend focus
• Strong proficiency in Python or Golang
• Experience with web frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Hands-on with LLM tools: LangChain, LangGraph
• LLM integration experience with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs
• Information retrieval with vector embeddings and semantic search
• Document processing expertise (OCR, PDF parsing)
• REST API design experience
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and vector databases
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent

• LLM fine-tuning experience
• Containerization and microservices architecture
• AI application performance optimization
