(Senior) AI Solutions Engineer

Aktor AI is the technology arm of Aktor Group (AKTR on the Athens Stock Exchange), a leading player in Greece's infrastructure sector. The company builds fully-managed AI employees (Noetic agents) designed for complex, rule-based back-office operations.

This is a hands-on engineering role at the frontier of AI-augmented software development where you will design, build, and ship production AI agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI agents end-to-end from prototyping through production
• Design systems with observability, logging, guardrails, and evaluation pipelines
• Integrate with enterprise systems via connectors and retrieval pipelines
• Review AI-generated code and designs critically
• Create evaluation datasets and define accuracy targets
• Produce technical documentation and runbooks

Required Qualifications:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience with LLM-based systems in production or near-production environments (agents, RAG, automation, orchestration)
• Product-minded approach to problem-solving
• Ability to evaluate system architecture soundly
• Comfort with probabilistic outputs and iterative refinement

Experience Levels:

• Engineer: 2-5 years total experience; 1+ with AI systems
• Senior Engineer: 6-10+ years total; 2+ leading AI deliveries

Nice-to-Have: Agent orchestration frameworks, vector/graph databases, Postgres/Redis, tracing platforms, Azure, ERP integrations

Location: 100% Remote (Europe or Asia)
Reports to: Head of Solution Delivery
Asynchronous collaboration with Athens-based teams plus regular video check-ins
