About the Role
Built In is hiring an Applied AI Engineer focused on Agentic Workflows in India. You will design and develop intelligent, agentic systems that take action on behalf of users. The role involves architecting and building agentic workflows that can interpret intent, plan tasks, and execute operations. You will leverage LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and orchestration tools like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or custom frameworks. Responsibilities include designing robust systems for evaluating agent performance and user feedback loops, developing chat-based user interfaces for rich dynamic interactions, and staying current with RAG pipelines, memory/state handling, and prompt engineering. Requires 4+ years in Data Science, ML, or Applied AI, Python proficiency, LLM APIs experience (transformers, LangChain, OpenAI), chatbot/conversational UI experience, SQL and API skills, and vector database/agent memory design experience.
