Deployed Engineer (NYC)
About the Role
LangChain's mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous by building the foundation for agent engineering in the real world. As a Deployed Engineer based in NYC, you will embed inside customer AI engineering teams to design, prototype, and productionize AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor helping customers make architectural decisions and adopt best practices for agentic workflows. You'll develop reference implementations, demos, and example projects that showcase effective use of LangChain tooling, and gather feedback from the field to influence the product roadmap. The role requires hands-on experience building production AI applications with LLM frameworks, strong full-stack engineering skills (Python or TypeScript), familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), API design and integration patterns, and a customer-empathetic mindset. You should be comfortable owning complex deployments end-to-end and thinking deeply about agent orchestration, tool-use, evaluation, and reliability.
