Senior Agentic-AI Engineer (m/w/d)

PEAX AG digitizes document workflows for enterprises, making information reliably, securely, and immediately available. As a Senior Agentic-AI Engineer, you will develop the agentic AI strategy and define architectural patterns. You will build a scalable Agentic-AI-Framework based on state-of-the-art technology (Python, LangChain/LangGraph). You design and implement AI agent pipelines with Tool Use, RAG, Memory Management, and Multi-Agent Orchestration. You integrate agents into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with Docker/Kubernetes scaling strategies. You build agent observability infrastructure for monitoring, tracing, and evaluation. You develop AI agents for business use cases: document processing, automation, and intelligent assistance. You collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams, and coach staff on agentic AI technologies.

Required: Multiple years experience as Backend Engineer (Java/SpringBoot, Python). Minimum 2 years experience with Agentic-AI systems and LLM-based applications. Deep expertise in agent frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen. Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude/Anthropic) and Prompt Engineering. Knowledge of RAG architectures and Vector Databases. Understanding of modern cloud architectures: event-driven systems, microservices, containers, Azure. Ownership mentality, innovation focus, structured working approach. Fluent German and English.
