About the Role

The Platform Engineering team's mission is to enable an AI-native Software Development Life Cycle — moving engineers from writing code to orchestrating agents. As a (Senior) Platform Engineer in our Platform Engineering Team, you will build the digital backbone that enables AI agents to navigate our systems, ensure continuous and safe software releases, create standardized development paths (Golden Paths), and monitor system availability and change lead time.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a robust, machine-readable context foundation that enables AI agents to navigate our systems
  • Ensure continuous and safe software releases for agent-built systems
  • Design standardized development paths (Golden Paths) for human and agentic workflows
  • Own KPIs like System Availability and Change Lead Time
  • Build resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure

Requirements

  • 4+ years in SRE, Developer Experience, Platform, Cloud or Backend Engineering
  • Proficiency with agentic tools: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex
  • Strong operational fundamentals (Day 2 ops)
  • Python, Golang, or TypeScript proficiency
  • Google Cloud Platform experience
  • Excellent written communication in English (German advantageous)
  • German residency required

Tech Stack
Google Cloud Platform (CloudRun, CloudSQL, CloudMonitoring), Vercel, Cursor, Terraform/Terramate, Datadog, GitHub Actions, Python, TypeScript. Agentic tools: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex.
