AI Agent Engineer

CollectWise (YC F24) is using generative AI to automate consumer debt collection. The company's voice AI agents already outperform human collectors by 2X across a $35B US market, and scaled to $2M ARR in months. As an AI Agent Engineer in NYC, you'll build the core voice AI infrastructure and conversational systems for debt collection automation.

What you'll do:

• Design real-time voice agent architecture
• Develop prompting strategies and testing frameworks
• Optimize speech and conversational reasoning systems
• Manage LiveKit infrastructure
• Build evaluation systems for agent performance
• Iterate based on call outcomes
• Collaborate with product and operations

Requirements:

• 3+ years engineering experience
• 2+ years voice/conversational AI experience
• Strong Node.js, AWS, SQL proficiency
• Production startup experience
• US citizen or visa holder only

Compensation: $200K - $300K + 0.25% - 1.00% equity. NYC onsite.
