AI Engineer

About the role:

Work at the heart of the business to identify, validate, and deliver AI solutions with measurable outcomes. You will build production-grade, LLM-powered products end-to-end, moving from discovery to first value, then scaling what works through reusable capabilities and strong governance over trusted, AI-ready data. The role combines real business impact with advanced applied AI (RAG, agents, extraction, evaluation).

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and scope high-impact AI use cases with business stakeholders.
• Deliver AI products from problem definition through production handover.
• Build AI-powered solutions including data pipelines, retrieval systems, and reasoning workflows.
• Integrate with vendor AI platforms and internal AI solutions while reusing existing capabilities.
• Run rapid evaluation cycles and instrument solutions to track adoption, quality, and ROI.
• Ensure security, compliance, and auditability with technology teams.
• Contribute reusable components and patterns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years software engineering experience (financial services background preferred).
• 2+ years delivering ML/AI solutions to production, including end-to-end delivery of LLM-enabled applications.
• Strong Python skills and enterprise software design capability.
• SDLC, version control, and DevOps proficiency.
• Ability to translate business needs into measurable metrics.

Nice-to-Have:

• AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer - Associate certification.
• Experience with confidential data and governance/risk/security collaboration.
