AI Engineer

spektr seeks an AI Engineer to own the end-to-end AI strategy and its direct impact on customers in the compliance space.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end AI roadmap, including model selection and product integration
• Design and deploy LLM-powered features including autonomous agents, advanced RAG pipelines, and intelligent document understanding
• Collaborate directly with the founders to translate complex compliance workflows into scalable AI solutions
• Stay current with AI/ML research for competitive advantage
• Transform non-deterministic AI outputs into reliable, explainable, hallucination-free product features

Requirements:

• 2+ years in ML, AI, Data, or Backend roles with modern LLM expertise
• Strong TypeScript (core) and/or Python
• Production-grade RAG pipeline development experience
• Embedding, retrieval strategy and re-ranking expertise
• Evaluation obsession: frameworks to measure model performance
• AWS or containerized deployment experience
• Product-minded approach; ability to communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Models and stack:

• Models: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, open source (LLaMA, Mistral)
• Orchestration via LangChain or equivalent
• TypeScript, Python, AWS, Kubernetes
