As a Senior AI Engineer, you will lead development of cutting-edge AI solutions with positive impact. The role involves taking on tech lead responsibilities on a per-project basis, mentoring junior engineers, and driving the company's technical capabilities forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build innovative AI systems addressing business challenges using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and generative AI
• Translate customer needs into end-to-end technical solutions (from conception to deployment)
• Design and implement sophisticated AI components alongside data and software engineering tasks
• Engineer agentic systems and complex workflows using advanced prompt engineering techniques
• Deploy production-ready applications on major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Support sales efforts in qualifying and landing projects

Requirements:

• Computer science degree or related field
• 3+ years experience
• Proficiency in Python with software development best practices
• Fluent English (Dutch/German preferred)
• Experience with major cloud providers
• MLOps familiarity
• Previous technical team leadership experience
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
