As a Senior AI Engineer, you will lead development of cutting-edge AI solutions with positive impact. The role involves taking on tech lead responsibilities on a per-project basis, mentoring junior engineers, and driving the company's technical capabilities forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build innovative AI systems addressing business challenges using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and generative AI
- Translate customer needs into end-to-end technical solutions (from conception to deployment)
- Design and implement sophisticated AI components alongside data and software engineering tasks
- Engineer agentic systems and complex workflows using advanced prompt engineering techniques
- Deploy production-ready applications on major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Support sales efforts in qualifying and landing projects
Requirements:
- Computer science degree or related field
- 3+ years experience
- Proficiency in Python with software development best practices
- Fluent English (Dutch/German preferred)
- Experience with major cloud providers
- MLOps familiarity
- Previous technical team leadership experience
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
