Senior Developer - AI Software Engineer

Neuberger Berman is hiring a Senior Developer focused on designing and deploying AI-powered systems for the Private Markets business.

Responsibilities:

• Architect production AI tooling
• Integrate large language models into features
• Build agentic workflows
• Collaborate across engineering and data teams
• Partner with business stakeholders, engineering, and data engineering teams to build scalable, production-grade AI systems

Requirements:

• 7+ years professional experience building and deploying software applications
• 2+ years focusing on AI production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with LangChain and LangGraph
• Hands-on experience designing production-grade agentic workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and AI capabilities such as MCP
• Understanding of architecting enterprise agentic systems
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma)

Tech stack: Python, Git, CI/CD, Docker, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, MCP

Location: New York, NY (hybrid, 2 days/week in office)
Salary: $130,000-$170,000 base + discretionary bonus
