About the Role
We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer (Applied) to build the AI agents that transform Engineering workflows across industries such as Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Semi-conductor. This role focuses on orchestrating LLMs and tools to solve complex reasoning problems for domain experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be an expert in building and orchestrating AI Agents. You know how to chain LLMs, tools, and data to solve complex reasoning tasks.
- Serve as internal power-user ("Customer Zero") to validate developer experience.
- Design complex agents leveraging surrogates and simulation tools.
- Implement rigorous evaluation loops and tracing to ensure reliability.
- Drive platform strategy by identifying generalizable patterns.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years in Applied AI, ML Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Proven experience building and deploying AI Agents or complex LLM workflows in production.
- Demonstrated collaboration with domain experts on specialized problems.
Tech Stack:
- Languages: Python (primary), Go or TypeScript (secondary)
- Agentic Frameworks: LangGraph, LangChain, PydanticAI
- Vector DBs: Pinecone, Weaviate
- Platform Tooling: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
- Observability: OpenTelemetry, agent tracing/evaluation tools (LangSmith)
