About the Role
The Platform AI Engineer will build and scale the Agentic stack — the production-grade platform that enables PhysicsX teams to compose advanced AI workflows. You have practical experience running agents in production and understand the failure modes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Observability: Deep tracing and cost tracking to ensure visibility across the agent lifecycle.
- Deployment Patterns: Tooling for auth, discoverability, resource management.
- Sandboxing Implementation: Secure runtime environments isolating agents.
- Systematic Evals: Feedback loops for domain expert annotation.
- Enterprise Governance: RBAC and OIDC for multi-tenant security.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years Platform Engineering, Backend, or SRE experience.
- Python/Go proficiency; Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform expertise.
- Production agentic architecture design experience.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks and "durable execution" patterns.
Tech Stack:
- Languages: Python (primary), Go or TypeScript (secondary)
- Agentic Frameworks: LangGraph, LangChain, PydanticAI
- Infrastructure: Temporal (durable execution), Pinecone, Weaviate
- Observability: OpenTelemetry, LangSmith, Arize, Braintrust
- Platform: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
