About the Role

Reddit is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead development of its large-scale GenAI Platform. This is a remote role for U.S.-based candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain an LLM Gateway with unified API endpoints for internal and externally hosted LLMs, rate/token limit management, and intelligent failover systems
  • Build and manage enterprise-grade RAG applications using embeddings, vector search, and retrieval orchestration
  • Implement and operationalize agentic AI workflows with tool use using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Vertex AI Agent Builder
  • Establish MLOps practices and develop observability solutions for GenAI pipelines in production
  • Lead GenAI Platform development from concept to production at Reddit scale

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in ML Engineering, AI Platform Engineering, or Cloud AI Deployment
  • Kubernetes operation at scale
  • Cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Terraform)
  • Programming proficiency in Go and Python
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Bonus: TensorFlow, PyTorch, model serving, inference pipelines, and monitoring systems

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $190,800 - $267,100 USD plus equity in RSUs. Package includes comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) matching, professional development support, flexible vacation time, and generous parental leave.
