About the team
Candidates may be placed across multiple GenAI Engineering teams: Allocation, Growth, Frontier Data, Trust and Safety, Pay, Operator, or Tasking Experience. These teams manage data operations from dataset creation to contributor incentives and integrity safeguarding.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain full-stack systems (frontend, backend, infrastructure)
- Build features using the specified tech stack
- Work directly with internal operators to identify and resolve bottlenecks
- Own critical contributor platform systems impacting data pipelines
- Scale infrastructure handling millions of weekly tasks
- Cross-functional collaboration with ML and product teams
- Mentor engineers and establish best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years software engineering experience, preferably high-growth environments
- Demonstrated production-scale system delivery
- Technical expertise in one or more: frontend frameworks, distributed systems, data infrastructure, or tooling
- Full-stack capability preferred
- Strong product sense translating complex problems into solutions
- Bias toward execution in fast-paced, high-ownership settings
- Openness to hybrid SF or NYC work

Compensation
Base salary: $216,000 - $270,000 USD
