Scale AI seeks a frontend-focused full-stack engineer to help build AI-powered applications that redefine enterprise workflows. The position involves developing customer-facing AI applications and internal SaaS products, including work on TIME's Person of the Year AI experience and Scale's GenAI Platform.
About the team
Scale GP (Scale Generative AI Platform) is the team building Scale's enterprise GenAI product suite, enabling agent deployment and AI applications for Fortune 500 customers.
Responsibilities
- Build AI applications for enterprise customers including Fortune 500 companies
- Develop features for Scale's GenAI Platform enabling AI agent deployment
- Design high-performance UIs using modern frameworks
- Collaborate with product, design, and ML teams
- Integrate frontend with backend services and cloud infrastructure
- Ship features rapidly while maintaining code quality and accessibility
Requirements
- 5+ years frontend or fullstack development experience
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind
- Experience with high-visibility, customer-facing applications
- Passion for AI and interactive AI systems
- Backend familiarity: FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GraphQL
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge: AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
Compensation
Base salary: $248,400 - $310,500 USD
