About the Role
Toast seeks a hands-on Senior Software Engineer for the Go-To-Market & AI Strategy Engineering team in Dublin. Build 0-to-1 tools designed to revolutionize how sales teams operate. The role focuses on building internal products — architecting and coding high-performance backend services and ML pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Build agentic workflows and RAG pipelines to automate sales processes
- Develop backend systems connecting custom quoting engine, Salesforce, and internal data lakes
- Implement event-driven architectures with deep observability
- Integrate AI services into the tech stack
Requirements:
- Extensive backend experience (Java, Go, Python)
- Practical production experience building LLM agents
- Systems architecture expertise
- CS degree or equivalent
Nice-to-have: Sales Tech or Fintech tool development, AWS data services (SageMaker, Lambda, SQS).
Hybrid role, 2 days/week in Dublin office. Expires June 29, 2026.
