AI Software Engineer

Top of Mind is building relationship intelligence. 80% of the backend is an agent focused on parsing notes, identifying contacts, and scheduling reminders rather than traditional API endpoints.

What you'll do:

• Develop and launch features for the React Native/Expo mobile app
• Design and enhance the AI agent system with new tools and improved reasoning
• Own problems from identification through production deployment
• Collaborate directly with founders and users without intermediaries
• Make autonomous decisions with a bias toward action over consensus

Ideal candidate:

• Uses AI coding tools extensively (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and knows when to leverage them
• Has hands-on experience building agent systems with tool use and structured outputs
• React Native and Expo proficiency
• Ships independently and takes full ownership of features
• Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to challenge unclear directions
